Merrick Firestone (Retired)

Though now retired, Merrick remains a well-known trial lawyer who was a tireless crusader for his clients. He was successful in litigating for nearly 30 years in the Phoenix area and has a solid reputation for being tough but honest.

Merrick has represented several multi-million dollar companies as well as the “guy next door.” Regardless of who his client is, you can always count on Merrick to advocate endlessly for those he represents.

In addition to his legal practice, Merrick has been a pillar in the community, coaching youth softball as his daughters grew up and most recently coaching rugby at Grand Canyon University (GCU). Merrick is an Alumni of the University of Arizona and a member of the UofA Rugby Alumni Association. He has won countless awards and honors, recognizing him for both his legal expertise as well as his professional conduct.

You will still see Merrick around the firm once in a while, but he now spends part of his time in Oregon and enjoying every outdoor activity he can think of doing.
